Green Fingered:
We have invested in tapeless camera technology to avoid the use
of digital video tape. Tapes add to landfill, use energy in their
manufacture and distribution and have metals in them that you
wouldn't want to eat
We prioritise rechargeable batteries throughout our kit. We have
committed to converting our mains power to renewably sourced by
the year 2013... then it can charge those batteries and power
the edits.
Waste paper from the office is shredded and placed lovingly in
our compost.
Charitable:
Since the start of Spaghetti Media a percentage of the profits
has been given to charitable concerns. This gave rise to the 'Spaghetti
Media Charitable Fund', which launched in 2011. The fund is
used to benefit causes though video production.
Recipients:
2011 - Third Space Ministries
Award Winning:
2011: CBC Media Awards Best Newcomer - Silver
2011: CBC Media Awards Best Production
- Silver
